Kamanjab is situated in the Kunene region in the beautiful country of Namibia. Namibia has experienced strong development over the past years and provides many opportunities.

The village of Kamanjab is popular as a stopover but also for short and long stays. It is centrally located in a scenic area, close to nature reserves and national parks. Etosha is 68 km away and you can spot the most popular wild animals in this large and popular national nature and wildlife park. Damaraland is a unique area, where you can admire rare desert elephants, black rhino, lions, giraffe, and baboons in the wild.

On well-maintained tarmacked roads, the capital Windhoek is within comfortable reach. The cities Opuwo, Outjo and Otjiwarongo are nearer, and have pretty much anything you may need. There are suppliers who will collect and deliver goods, parcels, and post.

The most common languages are English, German, and Afrikaans, which can be understood reasonably well by Dutch-speakers. 

Private residence A:

Private residence with a spacious veranda on the north side with a BBQ area, garden, and greenhouse.

Local area:

Kamanjab is a village with just over 8,000 inhabitants, and has a range of facilities and commercial activities. There is a sizeable Spar supermarket, several small shops, bakery, garage, 2 petrol stations, ATMs, town hall, court, post office, police station, health centre, and a local primary school.

Every village and town in the area has its own range of basic facilities. Be surprised by the knowledge and expertise of the local businesses. The capital Windhoek with its international Airport is a vibrant city with a rich cultural history, many shops, restaurants, and several shopping centres. Windhoek has everything an entrepreneur needs, including a comprehensive range of wholesalers for example. There are also several modern private clinics, and good healthcare is easy to organise. A new surfaced road from Kamanjab to the coastal town of Hentesbay is currently under construction and may bring even more visitors to Oppi-Koppi.

Oppi-Koppi Restcamp in Kamanjab is geliefd bij reizigers, reisorganisaties en ook bij de lokale bevolking omdat het voor werkgelegenheid en levendigheid zorgt. Oppi-Koppi heeft vele voorzieningen om te overnachten en te recreëren. Het hoofdgebouw en de verblijven zijn uiterst sfeervol, netjes onderhouden en compleet te noemen. 

Bij Oppi-Koppi voel je je welkom en thuis, wat er voor heeft gezorgd dat er vele klanten zijn die hier meerdere malen naar terug keren. De eigenaren hebben nieuwe dromen die ze willen verwezenlijken en daarom nu opzoek zijn naar een nieuwe enthousiaste eigenaar.

Kamanjab ligt in de regio Kunene ten noordwesten in het mooie land Namibië. Namibie biedt vele mogelijkheden en is de laatste jaren sterk is ontwikkeld.

Het dorp Kamanjab wordt veel gebruikt als tussenstop en ook voor kort- en langverblijf. Het ligt centraal in de natuur, dichtbij natuurreservaten en nationale parken. Etosha ligt op 68km afstand en is een groot en geliefd nationaal natuur- en wildpark, waar het mogelijk is om de meest populaire wilde dieren te spotten. Damaraland is een uniek gebied waar je onder andere de zeldzame woestijnolifanten, zwarte neushoorns, leeuwen, giraffen en bavianen in het wild kan bewonderen.

Door de goed onderhouden asfaltwegen is de hoofdstad Windhoek uitstekend aan te rijden. Steden die dichterbij liggen zijn Opuwo, Outjo en Otjiwarongo waar bijna alles te verkrijgen is. Er zijn leveranciers die goederen en (pakket-) post komen ophalen en of afleveren.

De meest gesproken talen zijn Engels, Duits en Afrikaans welke redelijk goed te verstaan is voor Nederlanders,

Elk dorp en stad in de omgeving heeft verschillende basisvoorzieningen. Laat je ook verrassen door de kennis en kunde van de lokale ondernemers. De hoofdstad Windhoek met het international Airport is een bruisende stad, heeft een rijke cultuur geschiedenis, vele winkels, restaurants en meerdere shoppingcentra. Windhoek heeft alles wat een ondernemer nodig heeft denk hierbij aan een grote verscheidenheid aan groothandels.
