Beschrijving:
In a beautiful location in the Oldambt region, adjacent to a nature reserve, we offer our residential farmhouse. We have enjoyed the farm and its surroundings with great pleasure and love for many years, but would now like to fulfil other dreams. Perhaps this is exactly your dream and we can pass the baton to you?
Every day here, we still enjoy the peace, space and animals around us immensely. The grandchildren have a great time here and we enjoy looking after our animals, horse riding and maintaining the land and garden. While tinkering with the various engines and repairing equipment in the spacious workshop can also be done excellently here. The period of haying and bringing it in is a periodic celebration for us that we look forward to every year with excitement and end with a satisfied feeling.
The ground floor of the farmhouse was partially modernised in 2006. The front room of the farmhouse has been brought back to its old style.
Have you already watched the photos and the unique video?
Here you can meet us, our daughter and the grandchildren a little bit in advance. We will show you a random day about living and living in this beautiful home and natural surroundings.

Ground floor.
This attractive house can be called large and still offers several possibilities. The house is accessible through several doors, so we usually walk in through the back doors. Guests enter via the side door where they enter the hall with the passage to the living/living kitchen, where the toilet, bathroom and passage to the scullery and stable are also located. Through the kitchen there is a passage to a long corridor (which includes the meter cupboard) which connects to the living room and the 'upstairs room' as a bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for clothes. Through the corridor there is a hatch to the cellar and a door for the first floor.
First floor.
From the hallway with its atmospheric black and white tiles, a staircase leads to the first floor, then to a landing with access to three bedrooms and an extra spacious room. This room could become a generous double bedroom with bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. All connections for this future bathroom are already prepared. The other 3 rooms do already serve as bedrooms.
Scullery and stable.
From the hall (where most people enter through the side door) is a utility room with white goods connections, central heating boiler and kitchenette. The scullery has a passage to the stable area where old characteristic elements are still intact. In this area, there is a modern "stable toilet", easy to use if you still want to take a bathroom break in your horse outfit or gardening clothes. A passageway leads to the 5 horse stables and the tack room with tap, double sink and lots of storage space. Above this area is storage for hay and straw. The stable/barn has 4 large stable doors through which you could drive through the stable. There are 2 doors at the front of the gable and 2 doors at the back of the gable. The stable/shed is spacious enough to store working equipment.
Garage.
We usually use the garage as an entrance ourselves. The space is huge, allowing us to put our bikes, motorbikes and car there. There is also plenty of space for tinkering. The workshop has its own kitchenette, which is used for washing dirty tinkering hands. The garage has a passage to the old stable area, which has a passage to the scullery. In this way, the walking route is complete.
Garden.
The house with plot has a private driveway at the front of the house with a wide passage for the entrance to the stable/barn and workshop, also next to the stable is a side path to the back of the stable where there is a spacious yard and a place for manure storage. There is a second entrance on the west side of the farmhouse the wooden gate can be seen in one of the photos. Through the spacious back yard you get to our favourite spot; the gazebo where we often "take a break", sit by the wood stove, we go through the day and enjoy the evening hours. And especially enjoy the view of the nature reserve and our own stork's nest. Of course, we can also often be found here during the day when friends or family come to visit! The garden has a pond, lawn, vegetable garden, old fruit trees and several seating areas where you can always choose to enjoy the shade or the sun.
Surroundings.
A lovely quiet place! With your walking shoes on or on horseback, you can enjoy walking, riding or cycling the various cycle routes from the farm. We regularly encounter roe deer, foxes, buzzards and many other beautiful birds here. Because the farm is also near the Oldambtmeer, it is easy to have fun on the water as well. There are several harbours and water sports possibilities and of course in winter it is great to skate on the lake. Within minutes you are in Winschoten, where there is a bus and train station and almost all amenities, you are quickly on the A7 so you can do cheap shopping in Germany, within 35 car minutes in the city of Groningen, 30 car minutes in Veendam or in Delfzijl. In the village of Finsterwolde, there are also various amenities such as a supermarket, bicycle maker, clothes shop, restaurant, cafeteria, GP, physiotherapy, football pitch, pharmacy, primary school and childcare, sports hall with swimming pool and library. In the neighbouring village of Beerta is a spacious petting zoo with playground, ideal outing for the grandchildren. In the surrounding villages there are plenty of camping-camper places and B&B. In Bad Nieuweschans, you have a wellness centre (Fontana).
